Americans and the Holocaust: "Band of Brothers" Screening & Presentation In-Person
Wednesday, October 19, 2022. 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Peter White Public Library Community Room. Adults, Seniors, Teens. As part of the American Library Association’s traveling exhibit Americans and the Holocaust being hosted at NMU, PWPL teams up with NMU to screen an episode of the miniseries Band of Brothers depicting the liberation of a Nazi Concentration Camp. Following the screening, presenter Janeen Rastall will share her father's (Colonel David E. Pergrin) memories on the liberation of the concentration camp, Dachau, while the 291st was attached to the 99th Infantry Division. She will discuss this event’s lasting effect on his life.
